Гость 1. The idea is reasonable, but the situation nowadays is quite different, so the statement is rather dated. The fact is, today young women are more likely to become business ladies rather than housewives. Due to the social agitation concerned with feminism and equality of sexes, many of them think they can only rely on themselves, thus they opt for career than sitting at home depending on their breadwinners - their husbands.
