England’s architecture is aristocratic and conservative. At the same time, the British eclecticism tends to have its inimitable distinctive traits inherent to different stylistic schools of those times. These styles had been formed and developed sequentially. This continuity can be traced by examining the buildings of the Tudor, Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian periods.
